Open Cellars is one of the most important enotouristic events in Italy. Since 1993, participating wineries of Movimento Turismo del Vino open their doors to the public.
Over the time, Open Cellars initiative has become a way to travel and discover Italian wine territories, leading to a significant increase in number of tourists and wine enthusiasts visiting wineries from year to year looking for a unique experience. In addition to the chance to taste wines and buy them on the spot, guests can also discover the secrets of growing grapevine and oak-ageing.
Open Cellars attracts those who enjoy cultural, culinary and artistic initiatives organized directly by winemakers.
Open Cellars 2018 – Saint Martin’s Day edition takes part on Saturday and Sunday, November 10/11 and offers guests the possibility to taste last harvest’s young wines.
